New Forest boutique appoints new GM from The Queensberry

New Park Manor in the New Forest has appointed a new general manager, who is thoroughly enjoying the change of pace in her new role.

Lauren McCann has joined the 21-bedroom Luxury Family Hotel from The Queensberry in Bath where she worked for 12 years before leaving in February.

McCann has had a hugely successful career in the hospitality industry, starting as a maid aged 15 at The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath where she stayed for 10 years, moving up the ranks and developing her skills.

She then joined The Queensberry in 2003, where she was general manager for just over a decade before her new appointment at New Park Manor brought her the heart of the New Forest.

Speaking to BH of her new appointment, McCann says: “The opportunity to join Luxury Family Hotels was simply something that I couldn’t resist. As a mum of two lively young children the idea that there is a group of hotels specifically catering for you not only as a family but as a couple is genius! New Park Manor is a beautiful property where the focus is on providing families with excellent food and drink and a luxurious spa all topped off with great service and hospitality. I am really looking forward to putting New Park Manor on the map as THE place for families to stay in the New Forest.”
