The Ned in London has appointed a new head of bars.
The 252-bedroom hotel, which opened in April 2017, has welcomed Max Ostwald to the role, where he will manage 17 bars across The Ned, including the Nickel Bar, Millie’s Lounge, The Vault and the new Library Bar.
He takes over from Dan Berger.
As well as overseeing the creation of new drinks menus, he will also recruit new bartenders and develop the bar’s existing talent. He will also be responsible for the The Ned’s relationships with partnership brands and manage all stock intake.
Ostwald has worked in the hospitality trade since he was 15 and joins The Ned following five years at Hawksmoor. He has also worked at Trailer Happiness on Portobello Road, and Brigadiers in the nearby Bloomberg Arcade.
