Coastal hotel group, Harbour Hotels has announced the appointment of Simon Maguire as its new head of operations.
Maguire comes armed with a wealth of experience, starting out with Firmdale Hotels, where he progressed through the ranks over his eight-year stint to the final position of deputy general manager at the Covent Garden property.
He then moved onto general manager positions at The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean restaurant in Jersey, Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells, Hotel du Vin Brighton, and lastly The Kensington Hotel, part of the Doyle Collection.
Maguire will now oversee the smooth running and continued expansion of the Harbour Hotels’ portfolio, which now spans 13 coastal, country and city locations across the UK.
Having recently opened in Chichester, Guildford and Brighton, the group is set to land in Bristol, Southampton and Salcombe over the course of 2016/17.
