New HiB identity promises to make bathrooms beautiful

Bathroom accessories designer HiB recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, and as a result, decided it was time for a new identity and rebrand.

HiB, which was started in 1990 by current chairman, Warren Ginsberg, now comes with the strapline, ‘Making Bathrooms Beautiful’ and as part of its strategy for 2016 will be focusing further on the hotel sector.

The company is known for its extensive range of bathroom mirrors to the market, and supplies these, as well as cabinets, LED illumination, lighting, ventilation and its own furniture range HiB Novum to bathroom retailers, builders merchants and the hotels all across the UK.

It made its debut at last year’s Independent Hotel Show and after positive reactions from visitors, is now aiming for rapid expansion in the hotel market.

Already suppliers to big brands such as Hilton and Holiday Inn, HiB now plans to target the boutique and independent sector.

The rebrand came as a result of intensive research and development into how the company was viewed by customers and what the business meant to them.

Robert Ginsberg, managing director at HiB said; “Since its inception, the business has grown at unprecedented rate. However, we wanted to do even better and therefore as we approached our 25th anniversary, we thought it was an opportune time to assess where we were and look to the future.

“From speaking to brand specialists, customers and staff, the feedback was very positive; HiB products were highly regarded, the service was seen as great, people valued our innovation but we needed to evolve the communication of these values through branding.”

The rebrand will be included in all packaging, brochures and promotional material as well on the HiB transport fleet, new uniforms, signage and all other company collateral. In addition, the businesses’ popular bathroom furniture brand, Novum will now be known as HiB Novum.
