New management team appointed at Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel to ramp up growth

One of Perthshire’s leading hotels has strengthened its management team with the appointment of two experienced industry figures.

Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel has welcomed Marc Adams as general manager to help take the business forward. He has taken on the strategic role with a remit to drive customer growth in both the surrounding area and further afield.

With more than 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, Dundee-native Adams brings a wealth of knowledge in running a mix of family-run and larger chain hotels, including establishments under the Crerar and Best Western banners. Most recently, he was general manager at Best Western Scores Hotel in St Andrews.

He is joined at Macdonald Loch Rannoch by new operations manager, Konrad Jastrzabek, who worked at sister venue Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa in Aberfoyle as reception supervisor.

Adams said: “I’m extremely pleased to have been appointed to this vital role where I can make a real difference to the day-to-day running of the hotel and, working closely with Konrad, help the business achieve its ambitions.

“It’s a truly remarkable setting here in rural Perthshire that is ideal for people of all ages wanting to escape from city life and experience the breathtaking natural scenery and outdoor pursuits we have on our doorstep.”

Built in the 19th century, the Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel is a former shooting lodge that lies on the north shore of Loch Rannoch with views over Munro.
