New Orangery at Cotswolds boutique taps into wedding market

The construction of a new Orangery at a boutique hotel in the Cotswolds has enabled the hotel to host its first wedding fair in six years.

Charingworth Manor, a 26-bed hotel under the Classic Lodges umbrella, completed its new orangery in May this year and is now gearing up to welcome brides and grooms to its first wedding fair since 2009.

The new space, which can accommodate up to 140 delegates, is surrounded by a terrace, overlooks its Cotswolds surroundings.

The 14th century venue will open its doors to a range of exhibitors on July 12th for the fair, from vintage car dealers to florists, even offering an a ‘man retreat’ for grooms, where they can indulge in local beer tasting in comfort.

General manager at Charingworth Manor, Michael Eastick, says: “With the hotel looking excellent, the main exhibition will take place in our brand new purpose built event space, the 140-seater orangery, which has just opened.”
