The new owner of a hotel in the Highlands who has invested £1.8m into the project so far, has now recruited a top head chef to help take the property to the next level.
Ian Hitchins took over The Ardeonaig Hotel in Stirlingshire in June and has now brought in new head chef David McCulloch to take control of the kitchen.
The hotel, which is over 100 years old, joins Hitchins’ portfolio of properties, including the 35-bedroom The Killin Hotel in Perthshire.
Now David McCulloch has joined the team, creating a new innovative menu that utilises locally sourced produce.
Past roles include stints at Kincraig Castle and Fonab Castle.
