Gourmet snack producer Mr Filberts has launched two new ranges targeting the hospitality sector to help owners increase margins and keep customers content.
The new roasted pocket mixed nuts and mixed seeds offer a healthier alternative to more fatty bar snacks and capitalise on the current trend for all-day dining.
The two products come in 50g packs and each have three flavours: mixed nut: honey & peppercorn, sea salt & herb and chilli & fennel and three mixed seed flavours: honey roasted, herb roasted and chilli.
All the flavours in the Mr Filbert’s have been slow roasted in the oven to give maximum taste but with much less fat.
Mark Taylor, managing director at Filbert’s Fine Foods explains: “We realise that today’s connoisseurs of snacks want healthier options and something different to the usual dry roasted peanuts and salt and vinegar crisps.
“Our new pocket snacks are very unique and delicious, and appeal to a much broader audience of potential consumers,” he continues. “We are very excited to launch them into the on-trade sector and look forward to attracting a whole new audience to our brand.”
