Newly-renovated Cornwall boutique hotel battered by storm

A newly-renovated luxury boutique hotel on the south coast of Cornwall has been battered by storms.

Huge waves smashed terrace windows and flooded Idle Rocks in St Mawes yesterday (February 3), according to a report on This is Cornwall.

The owners, Aston Martin chairman David Richards and his wife Karen, invested £2m in the renovation of the property ahead of its relaunch in July 2013.
