The Hoste Hotel, in Burnham Market in Norfolk is gearing up to unveil a new luxury cinema, private dining room and gym following ten months of refurbishment.
The historic hotel, which dates back to 1551, is home to 62 boutique bedrooms spread across a range of properties including a Georgian town house and an original railway carriage, and will open its new cinema space on July 12.
The new cinema will accommodate 20 people and is complete with plush carpets, cinema-style seats and a top quality sound system.
The Hoste Hotel will show three films per day, featuring 100 classic films every month and guests will be able to enjoy a personal waiter service throughout the duration of each showing.
The space will be available for all guests staying at the hotel, but will also be available for private bookings for non-resident guests.
Adjacent to the cinema other facilities will include a new gym, equipped with the latest fitness machines, and a private function room that will seat up to 24 people.
Owner of The Hoste, Brendan Hopkins comments: “This marks the next chapter of development at The Hoste and we very much look forward to welcoming Barry Norman back on this occasion to launch our private cinema.”
The Hoste officially became a hotel in 1651, and was thought to have hosted Lord Nelson regularly between 1788 and 1793.
Alongside the hotel’s 62 bedrooms, the property also boasts award-winning dining facilities and a spa.
