The Coniston Hotel & Country Estate near Skipton has made three promotions and appointments within its senior-management team.
Louise Bolton, the hotel’s general manager since 2004, has been promoted to hotel director, whilst Norbert Stump replaces her as general manager, and Simon Farrimond has been appointed food & beverage manager.
“These three appointments represent a watershed for The Coniston Hotel, and will enable us to push on in our quest to provide the best food, service and hospitality to the people of North Yorkshire and further beyond,” said the hotel’s owner Michael Bannister.
“In promoting Louise Bolton to hotel director, we are recognising her skills, professionalism and dedication to the hotel and wider business for the last 16 years”, he added.
“And in bringing in people of the calibre of Norbert and Simon, we are ensuring that our overall operations, but especially our food offering in Macleods Restaurant and The Huntsman’s Experience, go from strength to strength.”
