Newly-appointed Relais & Châteaux property and Michelin-starred restaurant Northcote has opened the doors to its hugely-anticipated Garden Lodge.
An impressive new building in the hotel gardens, the Lodge comprises seven spacious bedrooms and one master suite, each with individual terraces and views across the rolling Ribble Valley.
Currently celebrating 30 years of Northcote, now tastefully improved after a year of extensive refurbishment, the Garden Lodge will increase the hotel’s capacity from 18 to 26 guestrooms.
Jill Holst of Ward Robinson, long-term designer of choice for Northcote, has created the luxury interiors with contemporary furnishings that reflect the sophistication of the new build while honouring the rich heritage of the 18th-century manor house.
Spread across two floors, guests can choose between three types of lodgings – superior rooms, deluxe rooms and the expansive, 82-square-foot master suite.
Every room comes with king-size beds, oversized bathtubs and rain showers while the master suite features a separate lounge area with L-shaped sofa and recessed fireplace together with patio doors leading to a balustrade balcony.
