A hotel in Tenby has been acquired by Northern Powerhouse Developments, as the hospitality group looks to invest further in South Wales.
Fourcroft Hotel, which overlooks the town’s beach and harbour, will now be operated by Giant Hospitality, owned by Gavin Woodhouse and Northern Powerhouse Developments, and become the first of four hotels the group is acquiring and opening in South Wales.

The 40-bed hotel, which has been in the same family in early 1940s, was sold for an undisclosed sum and will now become the sister property to the Llandudno Bay Hotel and Spa which is part of the group’s premier Hotel collection.
Colliers International hotels director Peter Brunt said “Tenby has always been a favourite resort for visitors to Pembrokeshire and this hotel, with its fabulous views and beautiful private gardens leading down to the beach, is a very well-established destination for Wales, the Midlands and further afield.”
The freehold Fourcroft Hotel has been regularly upgraded and is home to 40 bedrooms, an Ossie Morgan restaurant plus a conservatory, outdoor swimming pool and meeting rooms.
