Nottingham’s Burt Brothers opens boutique hotel & brasserie

Burt Brothers textiles company has reopened the Bentinck Hotel on Station Street, Nottingham following a £1.5m transformation.

Ken Burt, who owns the hotel, told the Nottingham Post: “We are offering guests the choice of 13 unique luxury bedrooms, all with their own modern amenities and individual features”.

A contemporary 40-seat brasserie, The Citizen, includes a bar serving drinks ranging from real ales to cocktails.

Ken Burt’s son, Sam, told the publication that the family-run firm, which produces textile accessories from factories located in Nottingham and around the world, plans to invest in other properties in the city.
