Katie Bentley, previously PR Manager at The Chester Grosvenor, also joins the PR and communications team. Her previous experience includes launching Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool and writing for the Trinity Mirror group.

Jonathan Slater, managing director of Oddfellows said of the appointments: “I have worked with Samantha for a long time and I rest assured there is no one who can direct our unique hotel group to where it needs to be better than her. She combines an astute head for revenue with a natural flair for marketing that has led to great results in the past and will do so again now.

He added: “Katie is an asset to our team. She understands exactly what we are trying to do with the Oddfellows group and its niche within the hotel sector and is a fabulous communicator of that message.”

Oddfellows is opening its second property, Oddfellows on the Park in Bruntwood Park, Cheadle, Manchester in spring 2016.

The design-led boutique will consist of 22 bedrooms, a destination restaurant and spa and an events space that makes use of the site’s 100 acres.
