Oliver Williams has left his position as general manager at Ellenborough Park for a new role in Ireland.
Williams, who have been at the five-AA-star, 61-bedroom hotel since December 2015, is moving on to a new position in Ireland, which has not yet been disclosed.
Prior to his debut GM position at Ellenborough Park, he was hotel manager at Lime wood for five years after a short stint with The Zetter Group in London.
Ellenborough Park reopened its doors in 2011 following three-year refurbishment project under its new ownership.
The hotel is managed by Michels & Taylor, who will now take over the day-to-day running of the property and its 3 AA Rosette restaurant until a replacement is found.
A statement from Ellenborough Park sent to Boutique Hotelier said: “After two and a half years as general manager of Ellenborough Park, Oliver Williams is moving on to a new role in Ireland where we wish him well. Mervyn Parrish is currently overseeing the hotel operations whilst we recruit a new general manager, and will ensure Ellenborough Park remains one of the leading hotels in the Cotswolds.”
