Past, present and future of the hotel industry to be explored at Master Innholders 2018 GM conference

The theme of the 2018 Master Innholders General Manager Conference has been revealed, as speakers prepare to take to the stage to discuss their thoughts on the past, present and future of the hospitality industry.

The event, which will mark its 25th anniversary next year, will be centred on the theme, The Spirit of Time, and will highlight how the industry has evolved and overcome challenges over the last four decades.

Registration is now open for the conference on 15 and 16 January 2018 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London with special rates for Master Innholders and St Julian Scholars and group discounts for hoteliers bringing their teams.

Confirmed speakers include Rio 2016 Gold Medallist hockey player Crista Cullen MBA, who will share her experience of running a medal winning team and successful business; leadership and business expert Nigel Risner and TEDx speaker Paul Martin, who will discuss the art of brilliant customer service.

Mindfulness and wellness expert Katie Sheen will share her tips and practises on how food can be used to bring people together, while branding consultant Tim Watson will help delegates understand the fundamentals of creating a great brand and be inspired to make changes within their business.

The event will be chaired by Pride of Britain Hotels chief executive Peter Hancock FIH MI on day one and by award-winning photographer and hotel consultant Jeremy Rata FIH MI on day two.
