Hand Picked Hotels has named Raechel Harris as its ‘employee of the year’ in recognition of her outstanding performance in 2015.
Originally from New Zealand, Raechel developed her skills in the kitchens of 4 and 5 star establishments before joining the team at Fawsley Hall in 2008.
Her recent accolade is testament to her range of accomplished pastries, guidance of the pastry team and her renowned Afternoon Tea menu.
Drawing inspiration from the colours and countryside surrounding Fawsley Hall, Raechel has consistently innovated and devised delicacies for the hotel’s guests, delivering nearly 11,000 afternoon tea covers in 2015, according to the chain.
It said her attention to detail ensures an ability to deliver seasonal menus and adapt to meet dietary requirements as well as surprise guests with those little extras for special occasions.
Numerous themed cakes for corporate bookings and big brands such as Porsche, Mercedes, Jaguar, and Land Rover all contributed to the Red Star Standards and the hotel Revenue targets.
