Paul Foster steps down as head chef at Mallory Court


Paul Foster, head chef at Mallory Court has resigned from his role at the 3 AA Rosette Warwickshire hotel.

Foster, who joined Mallory Court part of the Eden Hotel Collection two years ago, is now looking to ‘pursue personal ambitions outside of the business’.

Mallory Court holds a three Red Stars rating plus 3 AA Rosettes and is counted as one of the top 200 hotels in the country.

2016 will mark a big year for the hotel, with work underway on a new £6m destination spa as well as a structural change of the hotel’s food and beverage format.

Mark Chambers, Eden Hotel Collection’s managing director, said the hotel’s food offering is ‘in excellent health’.

“This is going to be a big year for Mallory Court,” said Mark. “We’re now looking forward to developing a multi-faceted offering across The Dining Room, Brasserie and our new Elan Spa, which is due to open early 2017.

Chambers also added that this is an ‘excellent opportunity for a talented and ambitious head chef to join the team’, as the recruitment search begins.

A long-standing member of the Relais and Châteaux group, Mallory Court is part of the award-winning Eden Hotel Collection, the AA’s Small Hotel Group of the Year 2014 / 2015.
