Pennyhill Park and South Lodge, part of the Exclusive Hotels and Venues portfolio, have each announced a key appointment to their managements teams.
Stefano Squecco has joined Pennyhill Park as deputy general manager, while Dan Wait has re-joined South Lodge as operations manager from his role as sales manager at Pennyhill Park.
Squecco has worked at some of the world’s most famous hotels, including Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts; Hilton Molino Stucky Venice; Belmond Hotel Cipriani and The Lanesborough, London.
Wait began his hospitality career at the Hilton London Gatwick Airport and has spent the majority of his career since as a member of the Exclusive Hotels and Venues team, having joined South Lodge as receptionist in 2002 and progressed through the management ranks to interim general manager at Royal Berkshire, an Exclusive Venue and his latest role as revenue & sales manager at Pennyhill Park.
Commenting on his appointment, Squecco said: “I am looking forward to playing my role in the ongoing success of Pennyhill Park, whilst putting the full spectrum of my experience to bear as we grow and develop the business going forward.”
Wait added: “I am thrilled to re-join the team at South Lodge. I’ve spent much of my career here and it’s a very special place for me. I’m excited about working with the team to continue to deliver the quality stays and service for which we are renowned, whilst looking at ways we can continue to enhance our offer.”
