Developers are hoping to renew planning permission for the demolishment of the now-derelict Green Park House care centre in Bath, to be replaced with a hotel, restaurant, coffee shop and ‘urban garden’

An application to Bath and North East Somerset Council was submitted to renew consent as existing permission for the works is due to expire in November, according to a South West Business report.

Agent Scott Brownrigg Planning has also made an application to renew consent for the building of an office block and basement car park next door at Ernest Ireland House in Green Park Road, the report said.
