Pride of Britain Hotels has announced two new members to take the collection to 46 member properties within the hotel consortium.
Lake District country house hotel Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa and Rockliffe Hall, an 18th century mansion in County Durham are the new additions to join Pride of Britain Hotels.
The four-star Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa has 46 bedrooms and is set within 400 acres of deer park and woodland, surrounded by the Skiddaw mountains and Lake District fells.
The hotel is also home to The Courtyard Bar and Brasserie and a fine dining offering, the Lake View Restaurant. The spa consists of 10 treatment rooms, a thermal suite plus infinity pool and outdoor hot tub.
Rockliffe Hall is set with 375 acres on the banks of the River Tees and then 18th century mansion hosts 61 bedrooms, three restaurants, golf course and an award-winning spa.
Boutique Hotelier also reported yesterday that the luxury five-star hotel is gearing up to launch its new multi-million pound spa garden within its ground next week.
Both hotels have been through an extensive vetting programme before being officially accepted into Pride of Britain Hotels, to ensure each property complies with the high standards of the rest of the consortium.
The addition of Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa and Rockliffe Hall takes the Pride of Britain collection to 46 member properties, close to the maximum of 50 allowed in its rules.
