The Priory Hotel in Wareham, Dorset, is gearing up to unveil its new-look Garden Restaurant, following a refurbishment to transform its dining room.
The restaurant at the Grade-II listed English country house is currently undergoing a renovation and ‘sympathetic redesign’ before its new look is revealed this summer.
The designs include a vaulted English green oak ceiling, Purbeck stone walls, oak floors, plus sofas and dining chairs in mulberry velvet fabrics.
The restaurant will also be home to glass windows on two sides of the eatery, which offer guests a dining experience with views across the river, lawns and Isle of Purbeck.
The Garden Restaurant is due to open this summer and is headed up by chef Stephan Guinebault, who has been at the hotel since joining in 2006.
The Priory in Wareham is home to 17 bedrooms and is a member of Pride of Britain Hotels.
