“We were looking for quality, innovation and speed and we wanted to buy British,” said Steve Proud, business development manager at family-run Proud Inns.

“Our kitchens are busy producing a very high standard of pub food and both superior quality and efficiency is important. Synergy Grill gives us a top quality, British made product. The grills are both easy to use and easy to clean, thanks to Synergy Grills innovative atomising technology.

“They are also very efficient and we believe we will achieve a 50% saving on gas usage.

“Even more importantly, the presentation of food produced on our Synergy Grills is superb with chargrill marks on our chicken and steaks. The feedback from our chefs has been brilliant.”

Proud Inns run the Kings Head, Lanchester, the Jolly Drovers, Consett, the Bluebell Inn, Stanley and the Falcon, Prudhoe. The company was founded by husband and wife, Brian and Michelle Proud.
