Top North East hotel, Ramside Hall has unveiled its new-look business suite following a £15,000 refurbishment.
The hotel near Durham has given its biggest function room, the Bishops Suite a complete makeover, which has included new carpets and curtains, plus new mood lighting and a revamp of the two bar areas.
Ramside Hall will now focus on pushing for the conference and events side of the business as the room can hold up to 600 guests and be divided into three smaller rooms.
“The Bishops Suite is always in great demand and we’re expecting this to increase further now that it has been refreshed,” said John Adamson, owner of Ramside Hall Hotel.
The hotel also has a ballroom which can take up to 320 guests, the Fountain Room which can take up to 60 and a number of smaller meeting rooms.
The refurbishment of the Bishops Suite is the latest investment at Ramside Hall, following on from the creation of a £8m luxury spa and the addition of new rooms and a golf course in the last 18 months.
