The world’s best boutique hotels are being invited to put themselves forward for a global accolade, with the nomination process for the World Boutique Hotel Awards closing in just over a month’s time.
The Awards, now in their 6th year, are dedicated to celebrating luxury and independence in the global hotel industry, and now top boutiques are being encouraged to get their entry in before the closing date of May 30 2016.
From the entrees, winners are chosen and recognised in each geographic region in a range of categories from beach or coastal, city explorer, classic elegance, culinary excellence, honeymoon hideaway, inspired design, newcomer, private villas, relaxation retreat, romantic, wellness spa and sustainability.
Last year, nominated hotels came from over 70 countries.
The winners will be announced at the annual World Boutique Hotel Awards ceremony, to be held on November 9 at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London, attended by more than 250 hoteliers and travel industry experts from around the globe.
“Last year saw a doubling of Worl Boutique Hotel Award nominees, making the calibre of our winners truly extraordinary,” says Edward Gabbai, founder and director of the Awards. “With the launch of our international publication, together with the launch of the Master Key Society, the value of being recognised by our organisation has never been stronger.”
