The Harbourmaster in Abaraeron, Ceredigion in west Wales is to be put up for sale priced at £2.7m, according to a report in Wales Online.
The award-winning hotel, restaurant and bar has is being sold by husband and wife Glyn and Menna Heulyn who transformed the site into one of the area’s most renowned boutique hotels.

Glyn Heulyn told the publication: “It’s twelve years since we created the Harbourmaster.
“What started as dream has turned into a roaring success and we are so pleased on its positive effect on Aberaeron and the local economy.”
Since opening in 2002, the property is said to have an annual turnover of £1.7 million and employs 26 staff.
The Quayside Grade II listed hotel has 13 bedrooms, of which 11 are doubles. It reopened following a refurbishment in 2006 and counts celebrities among its guest base.
Property advisor Christie + Co is handling the sale. Director of hotels Jonathan Hill told Wales Online: “It is a highly-desirable business and we expect to attract a high level of interest from prospective purchasers”.
Glyn and Menna Heulyn said they would now focus on running the Harbourmaster’s sister cafe bar restaurant, Baravin, on Aberystwyth’s Promenade in the north of the county.
