The best and most dedicated staff members in the boutique hotel industry were recognised at a glittering ceremony marking the first ever Personal Service Star Awards last night.
After months of nominations, the winners of the first ever Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards were unveiled in front of more than 200 industry professionals from hotels across the country.
Guests arrived at the Hilton Olympia to enjoy welcome drinks and take the opportunity to network before the shortlisted finalists and winners were announced.
The Personal Service Star Awards awarded accolades to the top employees in nine roles, including Bar Manager of the Year, Spa Manager of the Year and Concierge of the Year.
Winners (scroll down for full list) were invited on stage to collect their awards and soak up applause and cheers for their work.
The Personal Service Star Awards — launched to coincide with Boutique Hotelier magazine’s first birthday — were created to pay tribute to the most successful, promising and innovative employees working tirelessly to give guests the best experience possible.
The event was made possible by support from key partners, including Mitre Linen, Duck Island, Gilchrist & Soames, BC Softwear, IDeaS, Corby of Windsor and the Independent Hotel Show.
