Rockliffe Hall bids to be named king of the swingers


Rockliffe Hall’s Golf Club has been named as finalist in four categories at the sixth annual 59club Service Excellence Awards, know in the industry as the golf ‘Oscars’.

Ashley Dale, golf sales co-ordinator at Rockliffe Hall, has been shortlisted in the Leading Individual Golf Sales Performance category, and the golf club is also shortlisted for Golf Sales Team of the Year and Golf Membership Sales Team of the Year.

To add to the nods, Rockliffe’s golf and estate director, Davy Cuthbertson, is up for the Golf Manager of the Year award for clubs with an average green fee below £75 per person.

The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club on Monday February 29, which will be lead by sports presenter Georgie Bingham.
