A 14th century coaching inn, The Rose & Crown in Snettisham, Norfolk, has been awarded the title of Pub of the Year 2015 by the Good Pub Guide.

In latest edition of the guide, the pub was named as being the best in Britain, thanks to glowing reviews from its loyal customers and beating off stiff competition from more than 5,000 pubs from around the country.

Owners Anthony and Jeanette Goodrich, who have been running the 700-year-old pub for nearly 20 years, paid tribute to their staff, saying they are one of the key elements to the pub’s success.
