Royal recognition for hospitality toiletries supplier

In honour of their recent Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, representatives from Sysco Guest Supply were invited to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace last week.

Managing Director Andrew Keating and company founder Ken Warton enjoyed a champagne reception in the palace, while mingling with fellow award winners.

They then waited in line to meet Her Majesty The Queen, before talking to the Duke of Edinburgh about the hospitality industry.

The Duke was interested to hear about Sysco Guest Supply’s products for hotel bathrooms and even came up with an innovative idea for waste reduction.

“The whole experience was both surreal and a complete honour,” says Managing Director Andrew Keating .

Sysco Guest Supply which is based in Aldermaston, Berkshire, works across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to supply luxury toiletries and hotel operating supplies to many of the world’s leading hotels.

The prestigious award was made in recognition of the company’s outstanding achievement and contribution to British export.
