Ian Schrager has teamed up with Marriott International to open its first hotel in Iceland, which will mark the fifth Edition property in the portfolio when it opens in 2018.
The Reykjavik Edition will be located on the harbour waterfront, adjacent to Harpa, the city’s award-winning concert and conference hall.
The 250-bedroom hotel will be the fifth Edition to open, joining establishments in New York, London, Miami and Istanbul when it officially opens in 2018.
With each hotel designed to celebrate individuality with a sophistication style and attitude, The Reykjavik Edition will definitely shake up the sector when it launches. The project is the results of many years of intensive urban planning lead by the city.
