Scunthorpe B&B with a boutique edge named ‘Funkiest’ in UK

A B&B in Scunthorpe has been awarded the title of the ‘Funkiest’ in the UK at the AA Bed and Breakfast Awards 2015, held in London yesterday.

San Pietro in Scunthorpe, owned by Pietro and Michelle Catalano, consists of 14 individually-designed bedrooms, with eye catching and unusual wallpapers and fabrics in a really boutique style. The walls are adorned with limited release artwork and each space is complemented with modern furniture.

Pietro Catalano said of the award: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named the AA Funkiest B&B, we are so passionate about what we have created and this accolade is a fantastic reward for the whole team who have all made a tremendous effort to turn our dream for San Pietro into a reality. We are so proud to be putting Scunthorpe on the ‘AA’ map.”
