A Grade-II listed hotel in Llandudno, a region that is building momentum as a popular holiday destination, has gone up for sale with Christie and Co for £595k.
The Kinmel Hotel, a 19th century property, is located on the promenade in the largest seaside resort of Wales, approximately five miles from Conwy and Colwyn Bay.
Currently run by a family, the hotel has 28 bedrooms and is set over five floors.
Each bedroom has been individually styled to reflect the Victorian interiors of the building in a selection of single, double, twin and family configurations.
The lower ground and ground floors are home to a bar/lounge, restaurant and a kitchen. A car park can accommodate 16 vehicles, while located at the rear of the building is two additional rooms which could be utilised as owners’ accommodation.
Tom O’Malley, who is handling the sale from Christie & Co’s Manchester office, comments: “The Kinmel Hotel is a rare opportunity to own a good-sized hotel on the promenade with direct seaside views. As it has 28 rooms, it will appeal to owner-operators looking to take on a lifestyle business or a multiple operator who is perhaps looking to expand in the area.
“It is exciting times for Llandudno as its popularity with UK tourists is increasing. Because of this, we expect a large amount of interest in the property.”
