Self-catering comes calling for Cirencester’s Kings Head Hotel

The Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester has launched a new venture to capitalise on the demand for self-catering accommodation.

The hotel has opened six one-bedroom, self-catering apartments at its Market Place venue, located within the hotel itself.

Each of the apartments has its own open-plan kitchen, lounge / dining room, bedroom, bathroom and free Wifi.

Some apartments also come equipped with a sofa bed in the lounge area.

The apartments have been designed to cater for both business and leisure guests looking for a longer-stay option in the area.

Cheryl Webber, sales and marketing manager at the Kings Head Hotel, said: “We have many guests who wish for greater flexibility during a prolonged stay and this is what we aim to offer. From families to business people who may need more than just a night or two, guests can either choose to take advantage of the facilities on offer in the hotel, from the spa to the restaurant, or to come and go as they please.”

The Kings Head Hotel comprises 46 bedrooms and is owned by Mark Booth, owner of Wildmoor Properties. Bespoke Hotels now operates the business on behalf of Booth.
