Seven new bedrooms approved for fully-booked boutique B&B

Seven new bedrooms have been given the go ahead at a B&B in Crookham Common, to meet the growing demand from visitors to the area.

The Traveller’s Friend will build a new building to house the new bedrooms, as develop Ressance said that the rooms were desperately needed as the B&B is often fully-booked.

Owned by Julie and John Goode, the pub with rooms will also see upgrades to its restaurant, function room and shop as the council approved planning permission for all intended works.

The approved project will be welcome news for the Goodes, after an application for four live/work units behind the pub being dismissed on appeal, despite Ressance arguing that the units would help the pub thrive economically.
