Sharrow Bay unveils ‘best table in the Lakes’ with new intimate dining room

Sharrow Bay, a boutique hotel in Ullswater, has unveiled its new intimate dining room, which is home to the ‘best table in the Lake District’.

The hotel, set in a picturesque country house hotel, has converted part of its lakeside terrace into the ‘Hallin View’, which offers views over the water at Ullswater and beyond.

Sharrow Bay has transformed the space using original stone walls, traditional oak flooring and new furnishings into a new private dining room, complete with wood-burning stove and a glazed wall.

Guests are able to hire this space exclusively and will be provided with Champagne on arrival, a five-course menu as part of the package.

Sharrow Bay is home to 17 bedrooms, and is run by hotel director Oliver Smith, who joined the property in 2014.
