A boutique hotel in Sheffield is celebrating passing the six-month mark, as business at the new hotel continues to boom.
Brocco on the Park, an 8-bed boutique and kitchen, opened its doors in January and since then has welcomed 1,000 overnight guests and more than 25,000 diners who have come to experience the hotel’s hospitality.
The hotel is owned by Tiina Carr, who heads up a team of 26 and have all helped to transform the Edwardian villa over the past year.
The boutique’s interiors are Scandi-chic inspired with each bedroom coming with its own quirky feature such as a bubble chair or feature bath.
Brocco on the Park has received rave reviews from visitors as well as national recognition from Alistair Sawday’s, named as the guide’s special places to stay.
A new addition for summer is a parkside terrace, where food can be served and a number of cocktails and local Sheffield craft beers can be enjoyed by guests.
Brocco kitchen is a 52-cover restaurant, serving a selection of seasonal food from breakfast through to the evening.
Headed up by chef Leslie Buddington, previously from Soho House Hotel, the menu is designed to appeal to diners focused on cleaner and healthier eating.
Tiina Carr, owner of Brocco, said: “The support and interest we’ve received from the neighbourhood and beyond has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Leslie Buddington, head chef, commented: “We’ve been developing our spring menu to make the most of the season and bounteous British produce. Our picnic platters and afternoon teas are always popular and we’re hoping to fire up the barbecue on our parkside terrace come summer proper.”
