Brocco on the Park in Sheffield has won the title of Favourite Newcomers Hotel in the Sawday’s British Hotel awards.
The boutique hotel, which is only just a year old, was honoured in the prestigious list that names 15 hotels across five categories.
Brocco on the Park is located near Endcliffe Park in the city.
The Edwardian building itself has a long history, and there are claims that Picasso once stayed under its roof on a trip to a peace conference in 1950.
Sawday’s British Hotel awards celebrate 15 establishments in categories including Hotel of the Year, Favourite Newcomer and Old Favourite.
Speaking to The Star, owner of Brocco on the Park, Tiina Carr said: “We’re honoured to have been picked and would like to thank our wonderful team and customers.”
Brocco on the Park consists of 8 boutique bedrooms and a restaurant that is popular with both hotel guests and local residents.
