Halifax student hall of residence in Endcliffe has been transformed at a cost of £1.8 million into a 38-bedroom ‘boutique hotel’.

Halifax Hall Hotel, Endcliffe Vale Road recently held its official launch having had a soft opening 12 weeks ago.

“We have had a fantastic amount of interest in the hotel so far,” manager Paul Foster told The Star. “We’ve only been open 12 weeks, but we’ve been almost fully-booked every Saturday night and have done 11 weddings.

Foster said the hotel had a further 35 weddings booked in for next year.

“People seem to like the local flavour of the venue, with its historical relevance, as well as the food on offer which includes local dishes given a modern and unique twist, mostly sourced from high quality producers in and around Sheffield.”
