Soho House founder Nick Jones is seeking a hotel in the north of the UK.
Speaking on a panel at the Independent Hotel Show in London on Thursday October 31, the entrepreneur said he was looking at sites in Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow.
“We just haven’t found the right opportunity. We definitely would be [interested in expanding in the North of the country], we just haven’t found the right locations,” he added.
Soho House was founded as a private members’ club in London in 1995 and expanded to include clubs across Europe and North America.
Today the group owns and operates restaurants, cinemas, spas and seven hotels in the UK, Germany and the US.
The current portfolio of hotels includes: Babington House, Somerset; Dean Street Townhouse, London; High Road House, West London; Shoreditch Rooms, East London; Soho Beach House, Miami, Soho House Berlin and Soho House New York.
