Soho House CEO to be honoured at European Design Awards

Nick Jones, CEO and founder of Soho House & Co is to be awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award at this November’s European Hotel Design Awards 2015.

He has also been announced as the opening speaker at the Sleep Conference on 24th November, where in a conversation with Robin Hutson, he will share insights and discuss expansion plans for his fast-growing hospitality brand.

Jones created the first Soho House private members club in London’s Soho in 1995. Five Houses in the capital followed, four in North America and Canada, one in Berlin and Soho House Istanbul, which launched this year.

Babington House was Jones’s first foray into the country house hotel market in 1998, and this year the hotly-anticipated Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire launched, which has redefined the ‘rural retreat’ sector.

The European Design Awards will be held on November 23 at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London.

The Sleep exhibition, Europe’s top hotel design event, opens the following day at London’s Business Design Centre and runs for two days.
