Stuart Geddes has been promoted to the role of general manager at The Goring.
The move comes just over four years after he was promoted to hotel manager of the five-star family-owned Belgravia property.
During this time the hotel was granted a Royal Warrant of appointment to HM The Queen for Hospitality Services.
Geddes appointment was announced by Jeremy Goring, CEO and David Morgan-Hewitt managing director at The Goring.
Alongside the 69 rooms and suites, Geddes oversees the bar and lounge and the Michelin-starred restaurant, The Dining Room.
He first joined The Goring in 2006 following several years at The Ritz and has worked to uphold the ‘impeccable standards and generous hospitality’ seen at the luxury hotel.
Speaking of the promotion, Jeremy Goring said: “Stuart has an incredible dedication to the impeccable experience of each and every guest and is focused on nurturing this same ethos in the team at The Goring. I could not be more delighted to announce his promotion to general manager, and I look forward to many more years of working together.”
Geddes commented: “It is an absolute privilege to take the position of General Manager at The Goring. The hotel’s wonderful history, high standards and commitment to first-class service make it such an exciting and rewarding place to work, and I will remain dedicated to building on our already prestigious reputation as one of London’s finest luxury hotels.”
