A popular country house hotel in Perthshire, which was recently named Style Hotel of the Year, has gone up for sale with a price tag of £1.4m.
The Cairn Lodge Hotel in Auchterarder is on the market with Christie + Co and offers a 10-bedroom property close to the nearby Gleneagles golf courses, which brings with it a substantial amount of tourism and trade.
Originally a 1903 Victorian hunting lodge, the Cairn Lodge Hotel is a two-floor detached property with features twin turrets on either side of the entrance.
The hotel also features a lounge bar, with is well-loved by local residents as well as guests, and a grill room and restaurant which opens out onto an outside terrace.
