A hotel in King’s Lynn that was acquired by Surya Hotels last year has unveiled its new look following an extensive refurbishment that is being rolled out across the new owner’s East Anglia portfolio.
Dragonfly Hotel in Beveridge Way has seen its 50 bedrooms given a modern makeover, as part of a wider renovation programme across the four new hotels in the Surya Hotels group.
Owners Surya Hotels say the new bedrooms will be decorated in shades of rust, copper and burnt orange, to modern standards with contemporary designs and furnishings.
Public areas have also been given a refresh.
The project is similar to the work carried out at Dragonfly Hotels in Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough and Colchester, which were acquired in January 2016.
Surya Hotels also owns the Dukes Head in King’s Lynn.
Dragonfly Hotel King’s Lynn has also welcomed new F&B manager Ryan Edge, a chef who has overseen the kitchens of Marco Pierre White and Jamie Oliver.
Suki Dulai, managing director of Surya Hotels said: “We are delighted to be getting on with the business of bringing the Dragonflys up to the standards of other hotels within the Surya Group and continuing to make significant investment in the local area.
“The Dragonfly rooms were looking tired in places, so we are pleased to bring them back up to modern standards. We are dedicated to investing and improving all our hotels, ensuring we continue to make our hotels as welcoming, stylish and comfortable as possible for our guests.”
