The Scandi-chic boutique hotel on the Farncombe Estate in the Cotswolds is gearing up to launch its new restaurant on April 1.
The Fish, the 67-bedroom boutique that opened its doors in June 2015, is putting the finishing touches to its new restaurant, headed up by executive chef Jon Ingram and head chef Karl Holmes.
The duo has created a menu of new surf and turf dishes, in a style that gives ‘a nod to the seventies with a modern twist’. All of which will be served in the hotel’s light and airy restaurant, designed by Mr and Mrs Smith founder James Lohan’s sister, Hannah.
The interiors are inspired by the Estate’s Scandi owners and are based on a palette of neutral colours – greys, blues, greens and yellows – complemented by retro furniture.
The cosy bar serves afternoon tea featuring home-made recipes from The Fish team and drinks. There is also a special ‘Tiddlers’ menu available in the dining room.
The 67-bedroom Fish hotel is part of the 400-acre Farncombe Estate near Broadway in the Cotswolds, which is also home to Dormy House Hotel and the UK’s first private house hotel, Foxhill Manor.
