A four-star bed and breakfast in Tenby, boasting an enviable seaside position in one of Wales’ most popular resorts, has gone on the market for £850k.
The Esplanade, which forms part of a terrace of five properties, is situated over three floors and is home to 14 bedrooms, plus owners’ accommodation including three bedrooms, living room and kitchen dining room.
Colliers International hotels director Peter Brunt, who recently sold the nearby Fourcroft Hotel overlooking the harbour, is hoping The Esplanade will generate similar interest.
“Prospective buyers always ask themselves how much work will be required to bring a new purchase up to speed, and how much effort they will need to put in to achieve the levels of success they are hoping for,” he said.
“The answer here is not much – The Esplanade has been successfully traded to serve the town’s thriving bed & breakfast trade but is fully capable of being re-launched at other, equally profitable sectors.”
