The Beaumont has announced Jannes Soerensen as general manager.
Soerensen will take up his new position at the luxury 73-bedroom hotel in Mayfair today.
A German national, Mr Soerensen joins The Beaumont from Le Bristol in Paris, where he was director of rooms and a member of the executive planning committee.
He started his career in his native Berlin and has worked in some of the world’s top hotels in Berlin, Barcelona, New York, London and Paris, including the Kempinski Hotel Adlon, The Plaza Hotel and the Four Seasons George V.
Prior to his role at Le Bristol, he was director of rooms at The Connaught in London. Whilst in his position here, he completed a Master Certificate in the Essentials of Hospitality Management at Cornell University.
The Beaumont is the first hotel by established restaurateurs Jeremy King and Chris Corbin.
Opened in 2014, the 1926 building is located right in the heart of Mayfair and alongside its 73 bedrooms, consists of The American Bar and The Colony Grill Room.
The hamam, spa and gym are decorated in an Art Deco style and also offers a sauna, steam room and plunge pool as well as a number of treatments.
The Cub Room is the hotel’s private bar and lounge space for hotel guests, while the Lotos Room is available for private events.
Since its launch on the market in 2014, The Beaumont has quickly become one of the capital’s top luxury hotels, receiving numerous reviews of praise from both the media and guests.
