The Beaumont, London
Opened in: September 2014
Owned by: Jeremy King and Chris Corbin
The story: The Beaumont is the first hotel owned by restaurateurs Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, the famous duo behind the famous The Wolseley and the Delaunay eateries. Occupying a historic 1920’s building in Brown Hart Gardens, Mayfair, the whole hotel takes an old American theme, encapsulating an air of classic glamour and exclusivity. The hotel’s highlights consist of 73 bedrooms, including 23 suites, a 100-seater grill restaurant and American bar and a 24-hour gym.
Why we like it: Giving off a real transatlantic feel, it’s clear to see why tourists from across the pond love it here. Just a stone’s throw from Selfridges and with its nod to American culture and style, The Beaumont has become the ultimate 1920’s inspired hotel.
Combining Art Deco elements with touches of vintage, the black and gold checked granite floor is a definite highlight. Not to mention The American Bar, specialising in Bourbons and American whiskies, as well as a selection of cocktails all served in amongst the Paris and London-inspired decor.
