The Cornwall Hotel and Spa near St Austell has been put up for sale for £7.5m.
Parent company Rudrum, the fuel to property group is selling the 65-bed hotel on the Cornwall Estate in Tregorrick through Christie and Co.
The hotel and spa project – comprising nine rooms in the original manor house and 56 woodland hotel rooms with views of the Pentewan valley – and the privately-owned holiday homes cost £30m when it opened in 2010
The hotel boasts two eateries – one is a one-AA rosette restaurant, the other a brasserie – and The Clearing Spa with five treatment rooms and leisure facilities.
In the grounds there are currently 22 privately-owned cottages available to rent and there is planning permission for up to 36 more holiday lodges
